First Visit

Dr. Dustin and his team are dedicated to

 great dental experiences.

Before your child’s first visit, we recommend discussing the positive aspects of dentistry! Creating a great experience for your child starts before you even arrive at our office. Explain that the dentist will look around, count all of his or her teeth and that pictures may be taken of the teeth. Please avoid any language that conveys a negative or unpleasant experience (such as needle, drill, shot, or pulling teeth).

Upon arriving at our office, you will meet some of our dedicated pediatric dental team members who will show you the office and address any concerns you may have concerning your child’s oral health. Dr. Dustin will perform a thorough examination to assess oral hygiene, signs of decay, and growth and development. Oral hygiene instructions will also be given with suggestions to help your child care for their own teeth. In most cases, we will also clean their teeth on this visit, and provide an evaluation that will outline any existing dental problems and proposed treatment. Plenty of time is available to answer any questions you may have!

We request that you complete our First Visit Forms prior to arriving for your appointment. This helps our office keep your and everyone else’s scheduled visit on time.
